Meet the PEI-based team
Thriving Tree Teaching is led by experienced educators and behaviour specialists supporting children, teens, and families across Prince Edward Island.

Chelsey Broderick
Owner/Consultant
Chelsey is a mom, educator, and family-centred support professional who believes real growth happens in real life — at home, at school, and in everyday moments.
She helps families build practical systems that actually work supporting regulation, meaningful skill development, and positive social connections without expecting parents to become “experts” just to get through the day.
With over 12 years of experience supporting children and families across Prince Edward Island, Chelsey brings a deep understanding of behaviour, development, and education paired with a calm, child-centred, evidence-informed approach families trust.
She is especially passionate about helping caregivers feel confident, supported, and less alone in the hard seasons of parenting.
When she’s not working alongside families, Chelsey enjoys life at home on PEI with her husband and two children.

Meet Meg
Co-Founder, Thriving Tree Teaching
Meg is a mom, educator, and family-centred support professional who believes meaningful change happens in real life through strong relationships, practical supports, and everyday moments that matter.
As a parent raising a neurodivergent teen, Meg understands the complexity, advocacy, emotional load, and constant recalibration that can come with supporting kids who experience the world differently. That lived experience shapes her work as much as her professional training and fuels her commitment to supporting both children and caregivers.
Her work is grounded in neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, evidence-informed practice. Meg translates evidence-based interventions into clear, manageable strategies families can realistically implement in daily life. Her focus is helping children, teens, and families feel capable, regulated, and confident while recognizing that consistency can be hard and support must fit into real, busy lives.
With extensive experience in education and behaviour support across Prince Edward Island, Meg understands how overwhelming it can feel to navigate school plans, services, appointments, and daily routines. She works alongside caregivers to make support feel coordinated, practical, and sustainable.
Meg’s approach is calm, collaborative, and child-centred, always aligned with each family’s values.
When she’s not working with families and schools, Meg enjoys time at home with her family and finding adventure near and far.
